Pastor
Sidney serves as the Lead Pastor at Heritage Community Church. Sidney is from Hilliard, Florida and was raised on the outskirts of this small town on a farm. Sidney grew up in a Christian home and at the age of 7 began his journey of faith while attending a children's camp. At the age of 15, Sidney sensed God's call on his life to full-time Christian service. He has been in ministry for 25+ years serving as student and family pastor as well utilizing his gifts in music from time to time. He steps into the role of Lead Pastor of Heritage Community Church after sensing a strong call of the Lord to step out in faith with his family and team up with Brian and Brooke to plant a church in the northern Lake and Sumter County area targeted at reaching younger adults. The move to plant Heritage Community Church comes after most recently serving on staff at First Baptist Church of Leesburg, Florida for 11 years. His spiritual gifts are Pastor/Shepherd and Exhortation.
Sidney met his wife back in 1985 while he was serving a church in south Florida during that summer. They were married in 1988 and after 12 years of dealing with the pains of infertility, God blessed them with three wonderful children: Abbie (2000), Caleb (2003), and Anna (2004). Sidney says, " With the birth of our children came a myriad of paradigm shifts; not in our beliefs but just in a new understanding of what today's parents are experiencing. We are better prepared for ministry to young adults now more than ever before."

Brian
Williams - Worship
Pastor
Brian serves as the Worship Pastor at Heritage Community Church. Brian is from Lewisville, TX and was blessed to grow up in a Christian home. His journey with Christ started at the age of 15 while at a youth camp, and he felt called to full-time ministry at the age of 18. Brian has been leading worship for over 10 years now and has worked in different capacities on church staffs, with Centrifuge Camps, and in his own traveling ministry. His spiritual gifts are Faith, Administration, and Exhortation.
In 2002, Brian married his high school sweetheart, Brooke, and she is his wonderfully gifted partner in ministry. Together, they have felt called to church planting since 1999. It is exciting for them to be a part of something like Heritage Community Church that God has been preparing them for years.
